Top Ten Things I’m Excited About This Month
1. Drinks with old friends tomorrow.
2. Varietease Cabaret, October 30. Be there, bitches. It’s the biggest Halloween burlesque in Chicago.
3. My act for said show. (It’s all new and involves large props. Just you wait.)
4. Night of the Stripping Dead at the Admiral next week. I’m going with my pal Ira from Being Totally Sweet in Chicago.
5. Having spent the last two weeks reconnecting with people from the lesbian community. It’s nice to get back to your roots.
6. Le Cabaret Erotique, hosted by Vallery Dolls, Boystown’s Backroom Beauty, this Saturday at Uncommon Ground!
7. Going to see Anna in the Darkness at the Dream Theatre.
8. Nice cool fall weather.
9. Sweaters. Duh.
10. Fall baking, roasting, cooking and stewing. Last night I made a “casserole” that was more like bachelor food than anything, but there are better things to come. Soup!

I sure wish I could think up a zombie stripper joke on the fly, but I’m gonna have to think about it. (P.S. Did you notice? A list?!)
