Watching myself in the mirror, I realized I’m sexier than I thought I was.” –Nikki, 63
It’s exercise but it’s still fun and extremely liberating.” –Linda
It was a great class. I thought I would feel awkward dancing sexy around other people, but I wasn’t at all. I would recommend this class to anyone.” –Jessica, on Yelp.com

Interested in burlesque, but you’re not quite ready to jump off into the deep end into public performance? Then try this basic how-to class that combines a great workout with mini-routines aimed at having fun, finding your “sexy place”, and getting in shape. Each two to three week period, we will work the removal of one item of clothing (gloves, bras, boy shorts, dresses) or play with a prop (canes, small fans, chairs). There is no nudity in this class.

Student Reviews
Took…the Burlesque class with Ms. Bea Haven, and I’m already performing locally. I’m having tons of fun with costumes and putting together acts. I would strongly recommend this. –Coo D’Twat

Ms Bea Haven’s burlesque class is a great way to get in shape, have fun and put your creativity to use! She will work with you to explore what you find sexy and what type of burlesque you want to do – (Want to dance to heavy metal? Use puppets? Incorporate some other talent? No problem!)- whether you actually plan to perform, just want to have some fun or want to impress someone special.

And if you do plan to perform, this class is a great way to get started Ms Bea will help you connect with other local performers, share her anecdotes, tips and tricks, and be a total “mother hen” looking out for you. Plus, there’s a student recital at the end of the session where you can show off your new skills!
